Whether you stick to the pavement on the recreation path alongside the Eagle River, take a short hike to do some ice fishing at the Gypsum Ponds, or head to the hills for some trail hiking or biking, the abundance of sunshine provides a warm welcome to the winter months.

If you are seeking snow, head into the mountains of surrounding Siena Lake. There are thousands of acres of public lands that can be accessed through Gypsum to try out your snowshoes or your skins and skis.
For snowmobile enthusiasts, take a turn-up Coffee Pot road that leads to the Flat Tops Mountains and an unbelievable off-trail snowmobiling experience you won’t forget.
